Blind Rivets Nuts
A blind rivet nut is a tubular rivet that is internally threaded and counter-bored and can be anchored from one side of the material. There are two types. The first is designed to create a bulge on the underside of the panel when a screw is tightened in its threads and the second is not. The second is similarly drawn in with a screw, but instead of generating a bulge, it is drawn into the sleeve.
Blind nut-inserts have been shown to be a reliable and cost-effective technique to secure a variety of applications and are available in both in and metric diameters.
