Drive Pin Rivets
Drive pin rivets, unlike most other rivets, are installed with a hammer rather than a rivet gun. By hammering the pin into the body, the back-end portion flares out and creates a secure connection. This type of rivet allows for installation from one side of the material. Drive pin rivets come in aluminum and steel, with some containing a stainless-steel pin.
